Over the past weekend, Benjamin Bevins of Cottage Grove won the title of Reserve Champion in Rookie Division at the Arkansas Auctioneers Association.

Benjamin was born in Wise, Virginia and his family moved to West KY when he was 5. He fell in love with auctioning when he was in 5th grade, and sold for the first time at a school benefit auction when he was 11.

Ben works at Waglers sawmill, in Cottage Grove, as a head sawyer. He joined the Bid Last And WIN Auction TEAM in March of 2019 as a Ringman, and recieved his Tennessee Affiliate Auctioneer License in May of 2019.

Ben graduated private school at age 14 and recieved his GED at age 16. In 2016, at the age of 17, Ben graduated from the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa.

Ben and his wife Lorinda are expecting their first child later this year. Ben is a member of the Tennessee and Arkansas Auctioneers Associations and is also the reigning Tennessee Rookie Reserve Champion Auctioneer.
